Anna Broka (currently studying for a PhD in Social Work) has more than ten years of experience in research in the field of social welfare and the labour market. Participation in international research and local research work is linked to the assessment of the well-being of family and children and the social inclusion of vulnerable groups. One of the important areas of research is the assessment of the impact of social policy in connection with the transformation of the welfare system in Latvia. Anna participated in the post-crisis impact assessment on the availability of social support (2010-2017) and social services for children and families with children in Latvia. Anna is currently working on the youth value dimension and transition trajectories, evaluating social investment approaches in the framework of the National Research Programme.
