Iveta Auniņa

Head of Multimedia Laboratory
Iveta Auniņa has a master's degree in social sciences and is in charge of the Multimedia Laboratory of Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences since 2019. She has gained experience in journalism, creating publications in both the print press and television for more than 10 years. She has made a documentary on the economy of solidarity "Ghana: A Story That Began in Latvia" (2017), as well as several other documentaries - "May 4: Could It Have Been Different?" (2019), "Baltic Way - the Way to Freedom" (2019) and "Leišmalīte Way" (2018). From 2014 to 2019, Iveta created the programme series “Latvian Stories”, the Ministry of Defense programme series “Latvian Soldier”, the environmental programme series “I Can Be Green”, the erudition game for secondary school students “Environmental Erudite” and other television programmes. She is the winner of the competition "Journalism hope - 2018", organized by the Latvian Union of Journalists, an associated member organization of the International Federation of Journalists, in cooperation with the European Commission.
